Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

catching fire coverSummary: Katniss and Peeta are on their Victory Tour traveling to all the districts of Panem, including the Capitol. Before Katniss left on her Victory Tour, President Snow instructs Katniss to convince himself that she is in love with Peeta and that she is not creating a rebellion against the Capitol. If people of the districts find out that Peeta and Katniss are not really in a relationship, then it reflects upon the Capitol. After the Victory Tour she still has not convinced President Snow, but what is also worrying her is the rebellion that took place in District 8. She soon learns that District 13 might still exist and that she will be in the Quarter Quell.

Why I picked it up: Friends told me that it was a good book but not as much as the first book.

Why I kept reading it: It was an intriguing book with descriptive text. It was a fun book to read and it was interesting to read.

Who would I give it to next: I would give it to anybody who enjoys suspense and an exhilarating plot.
