Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

catching fire cover imageSummary: Catching Fire leaves off where the Hunger Game ended. Katniss, the main character, is very popular to the citizens of the districts for winning the Hunger Games. For that victory, she has to go to different districts and give speeches to the citizens. She thinks she is doing this just to show that she won the games but at the same time she unintentionally helps create a rebellion against the Capitol. The leader from the Capitol, Mr. Snow, gives her a visit and tells her that if the rebellion goes on then she will face a big punishment. The only way to stop the rebellion is if she proves that she is madly in love with Peeta. She is given one last chance to prove it. Her fate will be purely based on this chance.

Why I picked it up: I read the Hunger Games and really like that book so I was keen to read the sequel.

Why I kept reading it: It was very interesting and hard to stop reading it

Who would I give it to next? I would give it to everyone that read the prequel and most of my friends.
