Why I picked it up: Sagan’s reputation for having a keen insight and deeper understanding of the universe is what first attracted me to this book. I went in hoping that I could understand the deeper workings of life around us.

Why I kept reading it: This book contained everything I had anticipated; Sagan’s insight on the world and his creative methods of conveying unique concepts kept me hooked on this book. There were even times where the reading would become so engaging and provide so many unique ideas that I had to put the book down for a few moments just to ponder the deeper meaning behind what I was reading.

Who would I give it to next: Anyone who is even remotely captivated by mathematics and science, or anyone who simply wants to read some professional viewpoints on pressing topics, should consider picking up this book.
